This is my midterm paper for the Global Fellowship in Human Rights at NYU.
It looks at Operation Condor through a human rights framework, focusing on what this framing makes visible and what it leaves out.
The paper argues that while human rights has been central in documenting and exposing the violence, it also narrows the way that violence is understood.
